She is licensed to teach Holy Fire ® III in her Reiki classes.
Lynn is a licensed, practicing Occupational Therapist since 2000. She treats patients with neurological, cardiovascular, orthopedic and psychiatric conditions. As a homecare therapist, Lynn has a deep appreciation for patients experiencing these conditions, as well as the caregivers who support them.
Lynn believes authentic healing occurs when a balance of physical, spiritual and emotional wellness exists.
“I approach my practice with one heart and two minds. My heart embraces the intention of assisting clients’ healing process for their greatest and highest good.
But I am of two minds when approaching the healing process. My western-trained mind focuses on the physical body and how it works to support clients’ abilities to engage in the many activities of their lives. This focus considers the physical body (musculoskeletal, circulatory, respiratory, neurological, etc.), emotional awareness and the environment in which it operates.
My Reiki-trained mind considers my clients’ physical, emotional and spiritual aspects. With Reiki, the flow of life energy – or lack of this flow – is the focus of a treatment session.
Life energy can be blocked at physical and non-physical levels. What we perceive in western medicine as a physical illness is the manifestation of a block in life energy that has most probably permeated the spiritual and emotional levels and has taken root in the physical body.
Reiki restores a healthy flow of life energy at all levels through stress reduction and relaxation, for the greatest and highest good of its recipients.”
